woah. . my newfound love of steampunk has actually kicked me into sewing again~!!! I'm so happy to be making things. . . XD

so here's my first try at some steamy pants made of of some left over material from last quarters final project in school. (pst it's denim ;_;)

never mind the tights. . or the rest of the outfit. . I only discovered steampunk a few days ago. . and I'm trying to get a handle on the aesthetic. . and. . trying to dig what ever might fit it out of my closet (apparently. . nothing fits with steampunk)

anyway. . I'm hoping to remake these again a little better

oh and I know the buttons aren't the right distance away. please don't say anything about it. I pretty much chose not to pay any attention to them.

I haven't sewn anything other then lolita in at lest a year so I'm WAY out of practice. I made these with no pattern and pretty much no idea what they would look like when i finished.

so other then the buttons. . any con crit might be helpful. .

I really love the top of the pants, from mid thigh up. I like the bottom too, but I think I would like to see them be a little longer and a little fuller around the bottom cuff.

thats pretty amazing, they look very well made. i try to make stuff but im not good at sticking with a project

Ahaha! Stephen Colbert! I got that book for my brother for Christmas. =] I don't know anything about sewing, so I'm going to say the pants look fabulous. I'd wear them.
